This workshop will be your opportunity to help define Nelson’s Sustainability Strategy from now looking forward to 2040. To quote the City’s promotional material, attendees will “share community sustainability success stories, discuss sustainability issues facing our community, and learn how they can participate in this exciting process.” This is a big one. A lot of key decisions about the future of Nelson will be made based on your input at this meeting. There are a few good reasons to attend, not the least of which is the promise of “refreshments.”

A public “Furniture and Fittings” sale is planned for March 13, with all proceeds going towards the support of student programs. The sale will take place from 10:00 am-4:00 pm on Saturday, at the dorms on the Tenth Street Campus in upper Fairview, Nelson.
